Copy of the “thick” GVI drive shaft – all components interchangeable 1:1 with original Suzuki NTN joints 44102-67D00, 44102-77E02.
Stronger than the original “thin” shaft, but less durable than the original “thick” and “XL7 facelift” versions.

All dimensions identical to the original “thick” drive shaft:

• outer CV joint ⌀ 83 mm (“thin” version ⌀ 76 mm), 26 splines (wheel side)
• inner CV joint ⌀ 79 mm (“thin” version ⌀ 76 mm), 3 bolts (differential side)
• center shaft diameter ⌀ 25 mm, 30 splines (“thin” version ⌀ 24 mm, 29 splines)
• total compressed length: L = 532 mm

Center shaft diameter 24 mm = “thin” drive shaft (L = 532 mm; outer CV joint ⌀ 76 mm, inner CV joint ⌀ 76 mm), typically found in:

• Grand Vitara I 1.6 16v / 2.0 16v (1998–2005)
• Grand Vitara I 2.5 V6 (1998–2005) – automatic transmission

Center shaft diameter 25 mm = “thick” drive shaft (L = 532 mm; outer CV joint ⌀ 83 mm, inner CV joint ⌀ 79 mm), typically found in:

• Grand Vitara I 2.5 V6 (1998–2005) – manual transmission
• Grand Vitara I 2.0 TD RF / 2.0 HDi (1998–2005) – manual transmission
• Grand Vitara XL7 2.7 V6 (pre-facelift, 2001–2003) – manual transmission

Center shaft diameter 28 mm = “XL7 facelift” drive shaft (L = 532 mm; outer CV joint ⌀ 81 mm, inner CV joint ⌀ 79 mm – strongest version, 8 balls instead of 6), typically found in:

• Grand Vitara XL7 2.7 V6 facelift (2003–2005)
• Grand Vitara XL7 2.0 HDi (2003–2005)

All these drive shafts have the same total length L = 532 mm, 26 splines (wheel side) and 3 bolts (differential side), so complete drive shafts are interchangeable.
CV joints are NOT interchangeable, as each type uses a different spline count on the center shaft (29, 30, 32 splines).
