Right Front Drive Shaft
for Suzuki Grand Vitara I and XL7 Pre-Facelift
(not compatible with XL7 2003–2006 facelift)
Fits Grand Vitara I (1998–2005) and XL7 pre-facelift (2001–2003). With right inner CV joint extension, it can also be installed in Vitara I (1995–1998) wide frame versions: 2.0 16v, 2.0 V6, 2.0 TD RF.
Copy of the “thick” GVI drive shaft – all components interchangeable 1:1 with original Suzuki NTN joints 44102-67D00, 44102-77E02.
Stronger than the original “thin” drive shaft, but less durable than the original “thick” and “XL7 facelift” versions.
All dimensions identical to the original “thick” drive shaft:

Center shaft diameter 24 mm = “thin” drive shaft (L = 607 mm; outer CV joint ⌀ 76 mm, inner CV joint ⌀ 76 mm), typically found in:
Center shaft diameter 25 mm = “thick” drive shaft (L = 607 mm; outer CV joint ⌀ 83 mm, inner CV joint ⌀ 79 mm), typically found in:
“Thin” and “thick” drive shafts have the same total length L = 607 mm, 26 splines (wheel side) and 3 bolts (differential side), so complete drive shafts are interchangeable.
CV joints are NOT interchangeable, as each type uses a different spline count on the center shaft (29, 30, 32 splines).
Center shaft diameter 28 mm = “XL7 facelift” drive shaft – NOT interchangeable with “thin” or “thick” versions due to shorter length (L = 588 mm; outer CV joint ⌀ 81 mm, inner CV joint ⌀ 79 mm), found in:
